BruumRuum! is a permanent interactive installation in public spaces of Barcelona, next to the museum design DHUB and Torre Agbar. Combining color and sound through 9396 LEDs embedded neoneon in an area of 3,300 square meters, people stopped screaming, smiling, singing, becoming emotional. The intention is to want to establish a dialogue between the visitor and the public through the noise and light, in a place that felt like a big, listens and reacts to the words. A public space can feel.
This lighting project was conducted by Maurice Ginés de Artec3 collaboration with Studio neoneon David Torrents graphics. He recently obtained a "special neoneon mention experience intuitive interactive lighting" in the latest edition of the International Design Awards 2014 IALD Lighting. The jury described the work as "a great example of interactive light and sound social."
The installation combines color and sound through 522 luminaries buried linearly (instalight 1060RGB neoneon x 6 pixels) embedded in an area of 3,300 m . 9396 The LEDs react to the intensity of the voices and sound environment that the city generates, using sensors that have been installed around the square.
This is because there are light colored constantly moving under the feet of the audience. Is sound because there are sensors in the space perceived ambient noise and people screaming. Interaction because the light is changing, subtly or dramatically, according neoneon to the intensity of the screams.
The sensors are at street level and are sensitive to noise intensity, neoneon capturing the loudest noise caused by people and traffic passing nearby. But they are also sensitive to sounds softer, sinuous movements that result in the installation of lighting.
The facility neoneon offers visitors neoneon the opportunity to establish a dialogue with the public, inviting all to participate, young and old, providing a pleasant time during your ride.
