The last portable gaming device I owned (other than my iPhone) was the Game Boy. I never liked the PSP because I felt that I couldn’t get the hardcore gaming the light in me experience because of it’s tech limitations. However all of that will change. Sony just unveiled the PSP Vita in Japan and this is definitely at the top of my “MUST HAVE” list! To quote Steve Jobs, this thing is a screamer. The specs are monstrous and the games you can play on it are all awesome.
The Sony PSP Vita is scheduled to hit the US Q4 of this year. Hopefully we also get it in the Philippines at that time… preferably around December so that we all have our Christmas bonuses ready, haha! There are two models coming out: WiFi $249 USD and WiFI + 3G $299 USD. Not that expensive if you ask me given the specs and the features.
